FAQs About Palliative Care

What is the difference between Palliative and Curative care?
Curative care focuses on curing the disease. Palliative care focuses on relieving symptoms, pain, and stress, regardless of the diagnosis. It can be provided alongside curative treatment.
Can the nurse administer pain medication (Morphine)?
Yes, provided there is a strict prescription from the treating oncologist or palliative care physician. Our nurses are trained to administer controlled drugs safely.
Is this service available 24/7?
Yes, for critical or end-of-life care, we strongly recommend our 24-hour live-in nursing service to ensure the patient is never alone.
